📋 Description

• The Concierge Security Engineer 2 (CSE2) role is a pivotal position within Arctic Wolf’s Concierge Security Team, directly contributing to the company’s mission to End Cyber Risk by delivering world-class managed detection and response services to customers globally. This role bridges technical expertise and customer partnership, ensuring that security solutions are not only effectively implemented but also continuously optimized to meet evolving threats.
• As a CSE2, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor and operational partner to assigned customers, combining the analytical rigor of a security analyst, the strategic foresight of a security architect, and the responsiveness of an incident response consultant to protect customer environments and drive security outcomes.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and maintaining outstanding customer partnerships through proactive communication and tailored support; directly delivering Arctic Wolf’s network and endpoint security solutions by investigating security events, configuring and troubleshooting data sources, and verifying system integrity; actioning or escalating customer requests for guidance, information, or support in a timely manner while coordinating with internal teams such as threat intelligence, engineering, and SOC analysts as needed; and proactively engaging with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on security posture, remediation steps, and strategic initiatives.
• You will leverage your technical aptitude to interpret complex security data, conduct preliminary forensic analysis, and recommend actionable improvements to customer security architectures, all while translating technical findings into clear, accessible insights for non-technical stakeholders such as IT managers, executives, and compliance officers.
• The Concierge Security Team operates as a high-trust, customer-centric unit within Arctic Wolf, where collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning are foundational. You will work alongside a global pack of skilled security professionals who are passionate about innovation, recognized industry leaders, and committed to delivering measurable risk reduction for over 7,000 customers across industries and geographies.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in managed detection and response (MDR), security operations center (SOC) workflows, threat hunting, and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Controls, while developing advanced communication and consulting skills that are highly valued in senior security and advisory roles. You’ll gain hands-on experience with Arctic Wolf’s Aurora Platform, a CRN-awarded Security Operations Platform, and contribute to its ongoing refinement through real-world customer feedback and technical validation.
• This position offers a clear pathway to grow into senior security engineering, architecture, or leadership roles within Arctic Wolf’s expanding global security services organization, with access to mentorship, certifications, and cross-functional projects that accelerate professional development in cybersecurity.

🎯 Requirements

• 1-5 years of hands-on experience in a security role with solid knowledge of security architecture, including network, endpoint, and cloud security fundamentals
• Degree or diploma in a relevant field (e.g., Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science), or equivalent certifications and professional experience
• Strong partnering and relationship-building skills in a professional context, with proven ability to engage diverse stakeholders across technical and non-technical audiences
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating complex security concepts into clear, actionable insights for customers and internal teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience investigating security events, troubleshooting data sources, and recommending remediation steps
