- • As a Cybersecurity Penetration Testing Expert (AI Security) at G2i Inc., you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities in AI-powered applications, APIs, and infrastructure before they can be exploited by malicious actors. Your work directly contributes to the security and resilience of cutting-edge AI systems, ensuring they can withstand real-world adversarial attacks.
- • Day to day, you will conduct penetration tests on AI applications, APIs, and supporting infrastructure using industry-standard methodologies such as OWASP, PTES, and MITRE ATT&CK. This includes reconnaissance, exploitation, and post-exploitation activities, with a specific focus on AI/ML attack surfaces like prompt injection, jailbreaks, model manipulation, data poisoning, and adversarial inputs. You will document findings in clear, structured reports that include severity ratings, reproduction steps, and actionable remediation guidance.
- • You will join a fully remote, contractor-based team at G2i Inc., a company that connects skilled technologists with innovative projects. The team operates asynchronously with low oversight, requiring strong self-direction and accountability. You’ll collaborate with developers and security stakeholders to feed findings into hardening cycles that improve AI system resilience.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in offensive security with a specialized focus on emerging AI threats. You’ll gain hands-on experience in AI red-teaming, learn to identify and exploit novel attack vectors in machine learning systems, and contribute to the evolution of AI security practices. Your work will help shape how organizations defend AI systems in production.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of professional penetration testing or offensive security experience covering web applications, networks, and APIs
- • Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, Kali Linux, or equivalents
- • Strong attacker mindset with the ability to quickly identify logic flaws, auth bypasses, injection vectors, and exploit chaining opportunities
- • Extreme attention to detail and excellent written communication skills for documenting findings and remediation steps
- • Comfortable reading documentation, security advisories, and source code, and able to work effectively in an asynchronous, low-oversight environment
