• • As a Data Analyst at ConnectWise, LLC, you will be instrumental in transforming complex business data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across the organization. This role is pivotal in empowering our leadership and various departments with the data-driven understanding needed to navigate challenges and seize opportunities in the dynamic technology solutions provider market.
• • You will be responsible for the end-to-end development and maintenance of sophisticated Power BI dashboards. This involves translating raw, often intricate, datasets into clear, visually appealing, and easily digestible reports that highlight key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends. Your work will ensure that internal business stakeholders have access to accurate, timely, and relevant information to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
• • A core aspect of this role involves deep collaboration with stakeholders from various business units. You will actively engage with them to gather, validate, and meticulously clarify their reporting requirements. This requires not only strong listening skills but also the ability to probe and understand the underlying business needs and objectives.
• • You will be tasked with documenting critical business logic, data models, operational KPIs, and technical specifications in a structured, comprehensive, and easily maintainable format. This documentation is crucial for ensuring data governance, consistency, and for enabling future development and troubleshooting by yourself and other team members.
• • Leveraging your expertise in data engineering and technical tools, you will write complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from our Snowflake data warehouse. A significant part of your role will involve optimizing data models within Snowflake to ensure efficient query performance and data integrity.
• • You will work extensively with DBT (Data Build Tool) to manage data transformations, build robust data models, and develop efficient data pipelines. This ensures that the data feeding into your dashboards is clean, reliable, and structured for analytical purposes.
• • Maintaining the accuracy, quality, and consistency of data across all reports and data layers is paramount. You will implement checks and balances to ensure the integrity of the information presented to stakeholders.
• • You will analyze and track key operational metrics, providing deep insights into business performance. This analysis will go beyond simple reporting, offering recommendations to enhance process efficiencies, optimize business operations, and ultimately drive better business outcomes.
