📋 Description

• Join OneMagnify, an AI-native, platform-enabled B2B digital agency, where you will play a pivotal role in transforming complex organizations through the strategic application of data, technology, and creativity. This position is crucial for advancing our Data & Analytics Road Map and delivering superior service to our clients' customers by leveraging cutting-edge data tools and capabilities. You will be at the forefront of building smarter customer experiences and delivering highly integrated solutions across digital, media, and technology, enabling clients to make better decisions, move faster, and compete more effectively in dynamic markets.
• In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive discovery and end-to-end data analysis to deeply understand client customer needs. This analysis will directly inform the development of strategic plans and targeted activities aimed at significantly improving data quality. You will also be tasked with eliciting, analyzing, and interpreting complex business and data requirements. This involves translating these requirements into complete data product solutions, which includes meticulously reviewing data models (such as entity relationship diagrams and dimensional data models), ETL processes, business rules, data management strategies, governance frameworks, data lineage, metadata, and reporting elements. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring that our data solutions are robust, accurate, and aligned with client objectives.
• A significant part of your day-to-day will involve manipulating large and complex data sets using advanced SQL scripting to uncover intricate patterns and insights. You will perform detailed data profiling using various tools to understand the structure and characteristics of the data. This understanding is critical for informing data quality checks and developing necessary curation rules. Furthermore, you will actively support clients in interpreting their data, providing clear explanations, and remediating any identified issues to ensure data integrity and usability. Your ability to translate technical data findings into actionable business insights will be highly valued.
• You will collaborate closely with data owners and stewards to implement, maintain, and enhance data governance, quality, security, and privacy requirements. This includes ensuring adherence to related policies and standards, fostering a culture of data responsibility across the organization. You will also prepare detailed technical specifications for data ingestion and transformation rules, working in partnership with data architects to build efficient and scalable data models optimized for consumption. This collaborative effort ensures that our data infrastructure is well-designed and effectively supports analytical needs.
• Additionally, you will contribute to the development and refinement of standards and best practices within the Data Analysis team. This includes creating and maintaining documentation templates and actively participating in agile development methodologies to ensure efficient and iterative project delivery. Your input will help shape the team's processes and enhance overall productivity and quality. You will also be instrumental in supporting the advancement of the Data & Analytics Road Map, ensuring that our data initiatives are aligned with the company's strategic goals and client expectations.

🎯 Requirements

• University or college degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field of study.
• 2+ years of relevant experience gathering and documenting requirements as well as technical specifications for data solutions.
• Advanced SQL scripting skills. Python knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with the AWS platform and tools associated with analytics and data (S3, Redshift, Glue). Understanding of Snowflake platform is a plus.
• Understanding of data governance and metadata management (standards, format, definition, structure, tagging, transmission, manipulation, use, and management of data). Understanding of Monte Carlo and Atlan is a plus.
