In this pivotal role, you will be the sole owner of our end-to-end data analytics stack, including Snowflake, dbt, and Metabase. You will inherit a robust reporting foundation and be empowered with the autonomy to elevate it, innovate on how internal analytics are perceived and utilized, and deeply embed data-driven decision-making into the fabric of Hive's daily operations.

Embedded within the Operations department, our team excels at converting raw data into critical insights that enhance performance, boost efficiency, and drive growth across all facets of the organization. As our Data Analyst, you will be at the forefront of this mission, shaping how we leverage data to achieve our ambitious goals.
• • Your primary responsibilities will encompass a wide range of analytical and operational tasks:
• • *Data Analysis & Reporting:**
• • Proactively partner with leaders across various departments at Hive to thoroughly understand, document, and translate their reporting requirements into effective analytical solutions.
• • Collaborate closely with our Data Engineer to facilitate data ingestion processes and to develop sophisticated data models and analyses that directly address the business's most pressing strategic questions.
• • Design, build, meticulously update, troubleshoot, and maintain a suite of dashboards and reports that provide clear visibility into key performance indicators and operational metrics.
• • Skillfully present complex findings in a clear, concise, and compelling manner, adapting your communication style to resonate with both technical and non-technical team members and stakeholders.
• • Champion data literacy by educating and training business stakeholders on how to effectively interpret and act upon the insights derived from the data, fostering a culture of data-informed decision-making.
• • *Ad-hoc Analysis:**
• • Efficiently prioritize and respond to a continuous stream of incoming analytical requests from stakeholders across the entire organization, ensuring timely and accurate support.
• • Develop and execute complex SQL queries to perform in-depth data analysis, uncovering trends, patterns, and opportunities.
• • *Operational Support:**
• • Provide essential day-to-day operational support to our internal operations team, contributing to the smooth functioning of critical business processes.
