• • As a Data Analyst within the Marketing SEO Organic Growth team, you will play a pivotal role in transforming raw travel search signals into clear, actionable, and reusable datasets. Your expertise will be crucial in developing automated data pipelines and user-friendly dashboards that directly support and inform global Public Relations (PR) and editorial campaigns. This role requires a strategic thinker who can bridge the gap between complex data and compelling, media-ready narratives, ensuring our content is always data-driven and impactful.
• • Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve receiving and meticulously scoping data requests originating from PR and local media teams. You will then be responsible for delivering clean, well-organized, and press-ready datasets that meet the specific needs of these campaigns. A key aspect of this role is close collaboration with PR and communications partners, where you will actively contribute to shaping data angles, ensuring the feasibility of proposed stories, and providing the analytical foundation for their outreach efforts.
• • You will be instrumental in building and maintaining robust automated SQL and Python pipelines, along with reusable templates designed to streamline recurring data requests. This automation will significantly enhance efficiency and allow for quicker turnaround times. Furthermore, you will be tasked with creating and maintaining self-service dashboards and lightweight analytical tools, utilizing platforms such as Superset, Datawrapper, or Tableau. These tools will empower various teams to independently explore trends and gain insights from the data, fostering a more data-literate culture across the organization.
• • Data quality assurance is paramount. You will rigorously validate the integrity and accuracy of the data, working closely with the Data Engineering team to identify opportunities for improving underlying data models and delivery processes. This collaborative effort ensures the reliability of the insights generated. Additionally, a critical part of your role will be to meticulously document all methodologies and ensure that the outputs are easily understandable and accessible to non-technical audiences, maximizing the impact and usability of your work.
