Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • As a Data Analyst at Skelar, you will be responsible for analyzing large datasets to inform business decisions and optimize marketing campaigns.
- • You will work with multiple advertising networks and platforms, handling hundreds of tables with raw data and thousands of analytical processes daily.
- • Your tasks will include budgeting decisions, campaign speed scaling, team trust in data, and compliance risks.
- • You will be expected to understand that data is not just a report, but a signal that directly controls advertising algorithms.
- • You will need to have a strong understanding of SQL, experience with dbt (Dataform), data modeling, and attention to detail at the pipeline level.
- • You will work at the intersection of product, marketing, and advertising, understanding that an event is not just a row in a table, but a signal that flies to Meta, Google, TikTok, and shapes future targeting.
- • You will be proactive, not just fixing problems post-factum, but building monitoring and alerts that catch data collection issues before they impact campaigns.
- • You will be responsible for automating routine processes, writing scripts for data validation, and custom integrations with advertising APIs.
- • You will have experience building ETL/ELT pipelines from scratch, not just transformations in dbt, but understanding the entire data path: from source (advertising networks, pixels, CRM) to the analytical dashboard.
- • You will have experience with CI/CD for data pipelines, automating testing and deployment of transformations (e.g., through GitHub Actions or analogs), so that changes in models do not break production unnoticed.
- • You will have a deep understanding of performance marketing context, including ROAS, CAC, LTV, attribution, optimization events, and conversion funnel from click to conversion; experience working with advertising platform data (Meta, Google, TikTok) is a huge plus, as it allows you to understand 'why' behind each metric, not just 'how' to calculate it.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in advertising or performance marketing.
- • Strong understanding of SQL, including writing efficient queries on large datasets, understanding partitioning, clustering, and query costs in BigQuery.
- • Experience with dbt (Dataform) for building and maintaining transformations as code, with tests and documentation, not just one-off scripts.
- • Data modeling skills, able to design data structures that can handle company growth, not just break at each new business requirement.
- • Attention to detail at the pipeline level, able to spot anomalies in event streams before they impact campaigns.
- • Experience working at the intersection of product, marketing, and advertising, understanding that an event is not just a row in a table, but a signal that flies to Meta, Google, TikTok, and shapes future targeting.
- • Proactive, not just fixing problems post-factum, but building monitoring and alerts that catch data collection issues before they impact campaigns.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive salary and benefits package.
- • Opportunity to work with a cutting-edge technology platform, SKELAR Platform, that helps founders build consumer businesses that become leaders on global markets.
- • Access to exclusive domain education, including 2-month management school, AI intensives, and professional clubs for product development, product management, etc.
- • Impact on systemic support for Ukraine, through the SKELAR Foundation, which was created by Skelar employees themselves.
- • Ecosystem for productive work, including sports facilities, skateparks, green zones, and libraries.
- • Daily comfort, including snacks, meals, access to sports training in Kyiv or partial compensation for training in Warsaw, medical insurance, paid business trips, and corporate discounts from partners.
