As a key member of our analytics department, you will be instrumental in driving informed decision-making by extracting actionable insights from complex datasets.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to address the analytical data needs of the organization. This involves handling intricate data requests, developing comprehensive reports, and contributing to predictive data modeling efforts that forecast future trends and outcomes. You will work with a wide array of data sources, including financial, pharmacy, claims, provider, and member data, ensuring accuracy and integrity throughout the analysis process.
  • • A significant aspect of this role involves the analysis of health management programs. This includes the meticulous collection of data, validation of its accuracy, and the measurement of program outcomes. Your work will directly impact the effectiveness and efficiency of our health initiatives, helping us to better serve our diverse membership.
  • • You will be responsible for generating critical reports for various regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders. This includes preparing data for IRS, CMS, and HHSC reporting, as well as ensuring compliance with HEDIS reporting standards. Accuracy and timeliness in these reports are paramount to maintaining our operational integrity and regulatory compliance.
  • • Internal data quality is a core focus. You will perform data cleansing activities and conduct data reconciliation analysis to ensure the reliability and consistency of our datasets. This proactive approach to data integrity is essential for all subsequent analyses and reporting.
  • • You will conduct trend analysis across various functional areas of healthcare management. Identifying patterns, anomalies, and opportunities within the data will enable us to optimize our services and address emerging challenges in the healthcare landscape.
  • • A key technical skill for this role is the ability to create and generate reports using MS-Excel, MS-Access, and SQL. You will leverage the Business Objects interface and establish direct links to our core databases (ODS/EDW) to extract and present data effectively.
  • • You will be tasked with producing reports for and interfacing with senior management, as well as internal and external stakeholders. This requires not only strong analytical skills but also the ability to communicate complex findings clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
  • • A crucial part of your role will be to gather and interpret business requirements from stakeholders. By understanding their needs, you can proactively identify data trends and potential issues, offering data-driven solutions before they escalate.
  • • You will have the authority to execute data changes and update core systems as needed, ensuring that our data infrastructure remains accurate and up-to-date. This requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • • This position demands the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to strict timelines. You will be expected to effectively manage your workload, communicate potential risks and issues to your manager regularly, and ensure project milestones are met.
  • • As a Data Analyst II, you will also play a role in mentoring and assisting lower-level Data Analysts, sharing your expertise and contributing to the growth of the analytics team.
