📋 Description
- • Dandy Technology is at the forefront of revolutionizing the vast and historically antiquated dental industry, a sector valued at over $200 billion. Fueled by investment from leading venture capital firms, our ambitious mission is to streamline and modernize every facet of dental practice operations through innovative technology. As we embark on a global expansion, Dandy is diligently constructing the foundational operating system for dental offices worldwide. Our goal is to empower clinicians and their teams with advanced technology, continuous innovation, and unparalleled support, enabling them to achieve greater success for their practices, their staff, and ultimately, their patients.
- • We are actively seeking a talented Data Analyst II to become an integral part of our rapidly expanding technology organization. In this pivotal role, you will be presented with the opportunity to leverage state-of-the-art data tools, be granted the autonomy to independently tackle complex challenges, and make a tangible, immediate impact through the delivery of actionable insights. This position is crucial for driving strategic decision-making and operational excellence across the company.
- • This role is specifically focused on building the analytics engine that powers the evolving Dandy Supply Chain stack. This is the critical backbone of our manufacturing operations, responsible for the intricate processes of planning, routing, and optimizing what is recognized as the world's largest custom manufacturing business. As a Data Analyst II, your primary objective will be to transform this inherent operational complexity into clear, strategic intelligence that actively propels Dandy's growth and competitive advantage forward. You will be instrumental in translating raw data into strategic direction.
- • Key responsibilities and opportunities within this role include:
- • Developing and implementing robust production management systems and prescriptive analytics solutions designed to enhance operator execution and facilitate scalable operations. This involves creating tools and frameworks that guide operational teams towards optimal performance.
- • Designing, developing, and disseminating insightful analyses that directly influence and drive impact within the Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and broader Operations teams. Your findings will shape strategic initiatives and day-to-day activities.
- • Establishing and defining the critical data language for the organization, including key performance indicators (KPIs), comprehensive dashboards, and standardized measurement frameworks. This ensures that all teams possess a clear understanding of the underlying truths that underpin progress and contribute to overall success.
- • Facilitating rapid, data-informed decision-making processes. This will be achieved through both ad hoc analytical work and by democratizing data access, enabling self-service capabilities through effective business intelligence (BI) tools and user-friendly data exploration interfaces, particularly within Looker.
- • Applying your advanced data analysis skills and "data superpowers" to systematically reduce ambiguity, identify root causes of operational challenges, and develop effective solutions that address complex business problems.
- • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and translate them into analytical projects that deliver measurable business value.
- • Proactively identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the supply chain and manufacturing operations through rigorous data analysis.
- • Contributing to the continuous improvement of data infrastructure, quality, and accessibility to support the growing needs of the business.
- • Mentoring junior analysts and sharing best practices in data analysis and visualization.
- • Staying abreast of the latest trends and technologies in data analytics, supply chain management, and manufacturing operations to bring innovative solutions to Dandy.
