- • As a Data Analyst IV specializing in Healthcare Analytics at Centene Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the health of our 28 million members by extracting valuable insights from extensive and integrated datasets. Your work will directly influence critical business decisions, aiming to reduce the overall cost of care and enhance clinical outcomes for our members.
- • This senior-level position is instrumental in supporting complex Medicaid member move and provider reassignment processes, a crucial aspect of our operational efficiency and member satisfaction. You will be tasked with driving automation initiatives to significantly reduce turnaround times, thereby mitigating risks associated with these sensitive processes.
- • A key responsibility will be to assist with quality assurance and process improvement efforts, ensuring that our analytical workflows are robust, accurate, and aligned with industry best practices. This includes identifying inefficiencies and developing data-driven solutions to optimize performance.
- • You will also be involved in the significant undertaking of migrating our data infrastructure from Teradata to Snowflake. This involves understanding data structures, ensuring data integrity during the transition, and validating the new environment to support advanced analytics.
- • To ensure comprehensive support and foster team growth, you will cross-train across critical reporting areas, broadening your expertise and contributing to the team's overall capacity and resilience.
- • Your role will involve interpreting and analyzing data from a multitude of sources, including detailed healthcare provider information, member/patient demographics and utilization patterns, and relevant third-party data. This holistic view is essential for developing a complete understanding of healthcare dynamics.
- • You will lead the planning and execution of large-scale analytical projects and the implementation of new reporting tools. This leadership extends to translating high-level business goals into concrete, actionable analytical solutions that deliver measurable value.
- • A critical part of your day-to-day will be identifying and resolving complex data, process, and technical issues. You will be expected to perform root-cause analysis and effectively communicate your findings and proposed solutions to stakeholders at various levels.
- • Collaboration is key. You will partner cross-functionally with teams across the organization, building strong relationships and effectively communicating your findings and insights, both verbally and visually, to both technical and non-technical business partners.
- • You will independently engage with business leaders to gain a deep understanding of market-specific levers, operational constraints, and strategic objectives, ensuring your analytical work is directly relevant and impactful.
- • Leveraging enterprise reporting tools, you will be responsible for rapidly delivering data-driven insights and actionable recommendations that guide strategic and operational decisions.
- • You will proactively research key business problems, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and utilization improvements through rigorous quantitative analysis.
- • Presenting your findings will be a regular occurrence. You will communicate and present data-driven insights and recommendations to both internal and external stakeholders, actively soliciting and incorporating feedback to refine your work.
- • As a senior member of the team, you will mentor junior analysts, sharing your expertise on analytic best practices, effective business need fulfillment, and advanced analytical techniques.
- • You will also delegate tasks to junior analysts, providing clear guidance, oversight, and validation to ensure the quality and accuracy of their contributions.
- • You will perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute wherever needed.
