Full Job Description
š Description
- ⢠As the Data Analytics Lead at Bitstack Technologies SAS, you will build the companyās data function from the ground up, reporting directly to the CTO and shaping how data drives product, risk, and growth decisions across the organization. This is a high-impact, builder-focused role where you will establish the foundational analytics infrastructure, define key metrics, and enable data-informed decision-making at scale.
- ⢠You will own the full analytics lifecycle ā from designing datasets and building dashboards to delivering executive-ready insights and building predictive models ā ensuring that teams across Product, Engineering, Compliance/Risk, Ops, Support, and Finance can move from opinions to evidence with trustworthy, self-serve data.
- ⢠Bitstack is a fast-growing, YC-backed crypto-native bank with over 300K users, democratizing access to Bitcoin and rebuilding finance for greater inclusivity. Youāll join a small, ambitious team of operators who value speed, precision, and user-centric product development, with the autonomy to influence both technical practices and company culture.
- ⢠In this role, you will develop deep expertise in analytics engineering, causal inference, and business modeling while directly impacting core metrics like user activation, retention, fraud detection, and pricing strategy. Youāll gain end-to-end ownership of data initiatives and the opportunity to grow into a strategic leader as the data function scales.
- ⢠You will create a trusted āsource of truthā by establishing canonical metric definitions and reliable datasets that leadership and teams depend on for strategic decisions.
- ⢠You will make data discoverable and self-serve by implementing data discovery tools, documentation, and curated datasets so that most analytical questions can be answered without ad-hoc support.
- ⢠You will improve decision-making velocity and quality by building repeatable, reviewable analyses and frameworks that shift teams from intuition to evidence-based planning.
- ⢠You will build product and business measurement by instrumenting core user journeys end-to-end, defining funnels and cohorts, and enabling accurate attribution of product launches to business outcomes.
- ⢠You will deliver high-leverage insights and recommendations through deep dives into activation, retention, pricing, fraud/financial crime, customer support drivers, and operational performance.
- ⢠You will introduce experimentation and causal thinking by establishing a robust experimentation framework and promoting hypothesis-driven decision-making across teams.
- ⢠You will add pragmatic modeling where it matters ā building forecasting, segmentation, anomaly detection, propensity, and risk scoring models that drive measurable business outcomes.
- ⢠You will use quantitative analysis to uncover what drives Bitstackās business and product performance, turning raw data into actionable intelligence.
- ⢠You will build full-cycle analytics work: designing datasets, developing dashboards, and crafting executive-ready narratives that communicate findings clearly and persuasively.
- ⢠You will create repeatable analytical frameworks ā including cohort analysis, segmentation, and measurement plans ā replacing one-off answers with scalable, reusable processes.
- ⢠You will partner with Engineering to implement, validate, and monitor event logging and data quality, ensuring the reliability of upstream data pipelines.
- ⢠You will work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Compliance/Risk, Ops, Support, and Finance to scope ambiguous problems and transform them into data-backed decisions.
- ⢠You will proactively identify levers to move key metrics, quantify opportunities, and recommend specific actions that drive growth and efficiency.
šÆ Requirements
- ⢠Strong quantitative foundation in Statistics, Economics, Math, CS, Physics, or equivalent practical experience.
- ⢠Expert SQL and comfort working directly with production-grade datasets.
- ⢠Strong Python (or R) for analysis, modeling, and automation.
- ⢠Experience with experimentation, hypothesis testing, and causal thinking (A/B testing, quasi-experiments when A/B is not feasible).
- ⢠Experience with analytical methods such as funnel analysis, product measurement, cohort retention, segmentation, lifecycle analysis, time-series analysis, forecasting, regression/classification, model evaluation, and pragmatic deployment patterns.
- ⢠Proven ability to take ambiguous problems and solve them in a structured, hypothesis-driven way.
- ⢠Strong stakeholder communication: you can turn messy analysis into clear recommendations and trade-offs.
šļø Benefits
- ⢠Work from our office in Paris (Bourse) or Remote
- ⢠Flexible working hours
- ⢠One of the best health insurance plans with 100% employer contributions
- ⢠Monthly team activities and bi-annual offsites
