  • • As a Data Analytics Manager at Jellyfish, you will play a pivotal role within our investment analytics team, a dynamic and multifaceted group comprising marketing analysts, data scientists, and data visualization experts. This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Investment Analytics, placing you at the heart of our paid media practice.
  • • Your core responsibilities will encompass the meticulous collection and management of data, alongside providing daily marketing analytics consultations. You will be instrumental in shaping the long-term strategic vision for our clients' measurement frameworks, driving the testing agenda, and developing sophisticated dashboard solutions.
  • • A key aspect of your role will involve the creation of automated reports and the implementation of advanced analytics to uncover actionable insights that propel client success.
  • • You will actively contribute to the automation of data collection processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in data acquisition.
  • • A significant part of your contribution will be to clarify client goals and deadlines, translating these into effective dashboard solutions. This includes defining data sources, overseeing data collection, establishing data schemas, and designing intuitive visual representations of complex information.
  • • Collaboration is central to this role. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to present relevant analyses that directly contribute to achieving our clients' overarching objectives.
  • • You will be proactive in proposing and implementing process improvements designed to enhance relevant client goals and optimize campaign performance.
  • • A critical responsibility is to define robust measurement frameworks that accurately reflect account strategies. This involves identifying appropriate data sources and key performance indicators (KPIs) that are aligned with team goals and effectively illustrate campaign effectiveness.
  • • You will be responsible for planning comprehensive measurement proposals to evaluate and refine marketing activities. This includes designing and executing test-and-learn initiatives, conversion increase studies, and in-depth analytical investigations.
  • • A fundamental requirement is to deeply understand client needs and translate these complex requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications and effective solutions.
  • • You will leverage your expertise to analyze diverse data sources across multiple marketing channels, transforming raw data into meaningful insights that inform strategic decisions.
  • • Your role will involve managing and optimizing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, ensuring data integrity and efficient data flow.
  • • You will be expected to develop and maintain sophisticated data models and schemas within environments like Google BigQuery.
  • • The creation and refinement of interactive dashboards using tools such as Tableau will be a primary output, enabling stakeholders to easily understand campaign performance and key trends.
  • • You will apply your knowledge of paid media data, including social, search, display, and video channels, to provide strategic recommendations.
  • • Utilizing Google Analytics, you will analyze website performance and user behavior to identify optimization opportunities.
  • • Where applicable, you will employ Python for data processing, enabling more complex analyses and potentially the development of machine learning models to predict outcomes or identify patterns.
  • • Experience with API integrations will be valuable for streamlining data collection and enhancing analytical capabilities.
  • • You will also utilize other visualization tools like Looker Studio and Power BI to cater to diverse client needs and reporting preferences.
  • • A strong understanding of digital activation strategies and the various levers available to digital marketers to influence marketing results is essential.
  • • You will maintain an organized pipeline of analytical opportunities, approaching process management with a meticulous and detail-oriented mindset.
  • • Familiarity with media experiments and lift studies is highly desirable, allowing for more sophisticated campaign evaluation and ROI measurement.
