- • ICF International is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Architect with specialized expertise in MuleSoft integration and data migration to spearhead the design and implementation of robust data solutions for a critical Salesforce Government Cloud Platform deployment.
- • This pivotal role is contingent upon contract award, and we are proactively engaging with candidates to build a strong pipeline for this anticipated opening.
- • You will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless integration of the Salesforce platform with various external systems, managing secure and compliant data migration from complex legacy platforms, and establishing a sustainable, long-term data architecture.
- • The position is authorized for remote work, with the expectation that the candidate will support US Eastern time zone working hours, fostering collaboration across distributed teams.
- • Your primary responsibilities will include developing and maintaining sophisticated integration solutions leveraging MuleSoft, alongside Salesforce-native tools such as Salesforce Flow and Data Loader, to facilitate efficient data exchange and process automation.
- • You will collaborate closely with a diverse group of stakeholders, including Business Analysts and development teams, to meticulously define data models, design intricate integration flows, and produce comprehensive technical specifications that align with project objectives.
- • A core aspect of this role involves designing and implementing scalable, secure, and compliant data architectures that adhere strictly to Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and broader federal compliance standards, including NIST and FISMA.
- • You will lead comprehensive data migration efforts, orchestrating the secure and accurate transfer of data from existing legacy systems into the Salesforce environment, with a paramount focus on data integrity, accuracy, and completeness throughout the process.
- • This will involve performing detailed data mapping, rigorous data cleansing, complex data transformation, and thorough data validation to support both migration and ongoing integration workflows.
- • You will be responsible for writing and optimizing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) scripts using various technologies such as SQL, Apex, and Python to manage data extraction, transformation, and loading processes efficiently.
- • A significant contribution will be providing support for the Authorization to Operate (ATO) process, by contributing essential cybersecurity documentation and ensuring strict adherence to Department of Defense (DoD) and other federal security standards.
- • You will provide expert technical guidance and mentorship on critical data management principles, including data governance, data quality initiatives, and best practices for integration strategies.
- • The role requires the creation and meticulous maintenance of comprehensive technical documentation, encompassing detailed migration plans, precise integration specifications, and deliverables for gate reviews, ensuring clarity and traceability.
- • Active participation in Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, will be essential to align with team goals, maintain project momentum, and adapt to evolving requirements.
- • You will play a crucial role in troubleshooting and resolving complex data or integration issues that may arise post-deployment, ensuring the ongoing stability and maintenance of the system.
