📋 Description

• • As a Data Center Security Engineer at OpenAI, you will play a critical role in securing the infrastructure behind the company’s rapidly expanding data center footprint, directly supporting the mission to ensure artificial general intelligence benefits all of humanity through durable, trustworthy, and resilient systems.
• • Day to day, you will design and implement security controls for OT and IT networking environments, conduct recurring audits and control assessments, drive evidence collection and remediation, collaborate with engineering and operations teams, and evolve security practices in response to adversary activity and infrastructure complexity.
• • You will join a small, highly technical Security team that protects OpenAI’s technology, people, and products while enabling frontier AI research and infrastructure through deep technical judgment and hands-on operational execution in some of the most important systems being built today.
• • In this role, you will develop expertise in securing critical infrastructure at the intersection of cybersecurity and advanced AI, shape security architecture for hyperscale and hybrid environments, and gain influence through technical ownership, collaboration, and execution on high-consequence systems with lasting impact.
