- • Design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and enrich firmographic data from third-party and proprietary sources for a unified data platform.
- • Apply transformation, normalization, and enrichment rules to ensure data consistency, accuracy, and usability across two distinct data ecosystems.
- • Build and maintain data models using dbt, progressing from raw data through staging and intermediate layers to final semantic models used in analytics and dashboards.
- • Operationalize data matching and entity resolution logic using AI/ML tools and proprietary frameworks to improve data integrity and deduplication.
- • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines by implementing alerts, logs, and performance metrics to ensure continuous, reliable data flow.
- • Collaborate closely with data architects, product managers, and content experts to align data structures with business requirements and analytical needs.
- • Contribute to documentation, code quality standards, and internal best practices to ensure long-term maintainability and knowledge sharing.
- • Work within a cloud-based infrastructure, primarily on Azure, leveraging technologies such as Snowflake, Spark, and Airflow to support large-scale data operations.
- • Support the development of a global business directory considered central to the client’s mission of delivering data-driven consulting insights.
- • Participate in a startup-style team within a global management consultancy focused on productization and innovation in data-driven service delivery.
- • Engage in a 6-month contract role with potential for extension, contributing to a high-impact project at the intersection of consulting and data product development.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4–8 years of experience in data engineering with a proven track record of building production-grade data pipelines
- • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and dbt, with strong hands-on experience in Snowflake
- • Familiarity with Azure cloud platform; experience with Spark, Airflow, and Azure Data Lake or similar technologies is preferred
- • Understanding of data modeling, version control, CI/CD, and data governance principles
- • Proactive, detail-oriented mindset with ownership of systems and a drive to continuously improve data quality and pipeline efficiency
- • Comfort working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with data architects, product managers, and analysts
