- • As a Data Governance Lead at Hitachi Vantara, you will play a pivotal role in maturing and scaling enterprise data governance practices, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance across global operations while partnering with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
- • Day to day, you will lead the Data Governance Steering Committee, implement data governance strategies including data catalog, metadata management, and data quality initiatives, collaborate with Legal, Privacy, and Cybersecurity teams on compliance, and drive data literacy programs to foster a data-driven culture.
- • You will join Hitachi Vantara, the data foundation trusted by the world’s innovators, where resilient, high-performance data infrastructure enables customers—from banks to theme parks—to focus on achieving incredible outcomes with data, backed by a global team committed to innovation and inclusion.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise data governance, influence strategic data policies, enhance data quality and usability across domains, and contribute to reducing data management risks while advancing your leadership in a diverse, global organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8 years’ experience working in data governance, data quality, analytics, or data management roles, with 12 years of overall experience
- • Expert understanding of data concepts such as data definitions, metadata, lineage, and quality
- • Strong experience using data catalogs or metadata management tools
- • Strong experience implementing a data quality program
- • Strong communication and facilitation skills
- • Ability to work cross-functionally and translate governance concepts into practical guidance and business value
