đź“‹ Description

  • • Abby Care is on a mission to revolutionize family caregiving by providing paid opportunities, essential tools, and robust support to the millions of unpaid family caregivers across the United States. We are building a cutting-edge, family-centric care platform that leverages technology to deliver care efficiently, enhance health outcomes, and ensure a best-in-class experience nationwide. As we scale our operations and impact, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Migration Analyst to join our team on a contract basis. This remote role is crucial for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our data as we execute vital data migration and quality initiatives across our core systems.
  • • In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability and accuracy of data as it is migrated, cleaned, and reconciled across various platforms that underpin our operational workflows. You will work with meticulously defined migration plans and data mappings, collaborating closely with our Operations, Analytics, and Engineering teams. This is an execution-focused position, perfectly suited for an individual who thrives on working with structured data, possesses a strong understanding of how different systems interconnect, and can follow complex instructions with unwavering precision and care. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to serve families effectively and scale our mission.
  • • The primary focus of this role will be the execution of data migrations into Salesforce. You will be responsible for handling data sourced from various systems, including Salesforce itself, Snowflake, CSV files, and other relevant platforms. This involves not just the transfer of data but also its transformation and validation to ensure it meets Abby Care's high standards for completeness, accuracy, and consistency. You will be utilizing standard Salesforce data management tools such as Data Loader and the Data Import Wizard, or equivalent tools, to perform these critical tasks.
  • • A significant part of your responsibility will involve validating the migrated data. This includes performing thorough checks for completeness, ensuring the accuracy of individual data points, verifying referential integrity to maintain relationships between different data sets, and identifying any duplicate records that could skew our analysis or operational processes. You will be expected to meticulously troubleshoot and flag any data issues, mismatches, or unexpected behaviors encountered during the migration process, escalating them appropriately for resolution.
  • • Documentation is a key component of this role. You will be required to clearly document each step of the migration process, including any issues encountered and the resolutions applied. This documentation is vital for auditability, ensuring compliance, and enabling repeatable processes for future migrations. By maintaining clear and comprehensive records, you will contribute to the overall data governance and quality framework at Abby Care.
  • • Collaboration will be essential. You will partner closely with internal teams to gain a deep understanding of object relationships, field definitions, and the underlying business rules that govern our data. This collaborative approach ensures that data migrations align with business needs and support operational efficiency. Furthermore, you will actively support data cleanup, normalization, and ongoing data hygiene initiatives that are critical for maintaining a clean and reliable data ecosystem post-migration.
  • • Adherence to data privacy, security, and compliance standards is non-negotiable. You will be expected to work within established guidelines to protect sensitive information and ensure that all data handling practices meet regulatory requirements. This commitment to security and compliance is fundamental to Abby Care's operations and our commitment to our users.
  • • The project scope includes several key workstreams. You will be responsible for Migration Execution, loading data into Salesforce according to documented field mappings and transformation rules, handling large datasets across multiple related objects. You will also be heavily involved in Validation & Reconciliation, checking record counts, field accuracy, referential integrity, identifying duplicates, and confirming alignment with business logic. Issue Identification & Escalation will require you to troubleshoot failed loads, flag inconsistencies, and partner with Engineering and Analytics for resolutions. Comprehensive Documentation & Auditability is expected, ensuring repeatable procedures and compliance with data governance standards. Finally, you will contribute to Post-Migration Data Hygiene, assisting with cleanup and QA checks to strengthen data reliability.
  • • Beyond the core migration tasks, there may be opportunities to contribute to other projects such as SFDC Admin and Maintenance, Sales Engineering, Marketcloud Implementation, and integrating external tools like PandaDocs and Slack, as well as working with Flows. This offers a chance to broaden your experience within the Salesforce ecosystem and contribute to various aspects of Abby Care's technology stack.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 3+ years of experience with Salesforce data, including a strong understanding of objects, fields, relationships, and flows.
  • • 3+ years of experience performing data migrations or data imports, with a proven track record of successful data handling.
  • • Working proficiency in SQL is strongly preferred for data querying, transformation, and validation.
  • • Familiarity with data governance, auditability, or regulated data environments is a plus.
  • • Experience with data migration tools such as Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, or equivalent.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Remote work opportunity within the United States.
  • • Contract role with a competitive hourly rate ranging from $60-$90 per hour, depending on experience.
  • • Estimated contract value of $28,800 - $43,200 for an approximate 3-month duration.
  • • Potential for extension or conversion to a full-time role based on performance and business needs.
  • • Opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven company making a significant impact in family caregiving.
