📋 Description

• • The Data Practice Director is a senior leadership role within Caylent’s Cloud Data Engineering practice, responsible for operationalizing strategy, leading a team of data professionals, and ensuring delivery excellence across client engagements.
• • Day to day, the role involves owning end-to-end delivery oversight for data engineering and analytics projects, driving operational rigor (utilization, staffing, margin tracking), developing delivery standards, serving as an escalation point for technical and client issues, and translating strategic roadmaps into quarterly priorities and team OKRs.
• • The team is globally distributed across Canada, the United States, and Latin America, operating fully remote with a culture of technological curiosity, ownership, and continuous learning, where people are prioritized and diversity is celebrated.
• • In this role, the person will develop leadership and strategic influence, build high-performing teams, shape practice growth through go-to-market initiatives and thought leadership, and deepen expertise in AWS data ecosystems while driving innovation and client impact at the director level.
