As a Data Scientist, you will be instrumental in shaping our modern data team from the ground up, ensuring that data is not merely available but actively utilized to drive strategic decisions and operational excellence across the organization. This role is pivotal in transforming raw signals into actionable insights, directly impacting our leadership team, product development, and customer engagement strategies. You will own the critical tools and data infrastructure that our leaders and teams depend on daily, including sophisticated dashboards, regular insight loops, and in-depth analyses that convert complex data from logs, events, operational workflows, and partner escalations into clear priorities and actionable plans.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass the end-to-end development and maintenance of robust data solutions. This includes building intuitive dashboards and reliable data sources that empower self-service analytics, providing clear, trusted views that underpin our operating cadence and inform critical day-to-day decisions. You will be tasked with establishing a consistent rhythm for insights discovery, proactively surfacing key information to the individuals who need it most, thereby fostering a data-driven culture. A significant part of your role will involve owning metric quality in close collaboration with stakeholders. This means partnering closely with Product and Engineering teams to ensure we can accurately answer the most important business questions and guarantee the reliability and integrity of our data.
• You will also play a crucial role in driving metric correctness and adoption throughout the company. This involves meticulously reconciling definitions, implementing rigorous acceptance tests, and identifying and closing instrumentation gaps. By enabling teams to self-serve their data needs effectively, you will significantly enhance organizational efficiency and data literacy. Your work will directly support our leadership team, providing them with the data-driven clarity needed to navigate a rapidly evolving fintech landscape. Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with Product and Customer teams, acting as a key thought partner to elevate the organization's understanding and utilization of data.

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced SQL skills, including comfort with complex joins, edge cases, and messy schemas.
• Advanced experience with BI tools (Looker, Mode, Tableau, Omni, Hex, or similar) and designing dashboards for self-serve analytics.
• 5–8+ years of experience in data analytics, business analytics, data science, product analytics, consulting, or related roles.
• A structured approach to problem solving and the ability to turn fuzzy questions into crisp analysis and clear actions.
• Excellent communication skills and experience acting as a cross-functional thought partner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
