• • As a Data Scientist II on the Institutional team at Coinbase, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the institutional arm of our rapidly growing cryptocurrency exchange. You will be instrumental in building the foundational models and analytical frameworks that drive strategic decisions and product development for institutional clients.
• • Your primary focus will be on supporting and enhancing the Coinbase Institutional business. This involves delving into complex datasets to analyze and optimize fee structures on our exchanges, ensuring competitive and profitable pricing strategies.
• • You will also be deeply involved in refining and improving existing frameworks for Prime Brokerage Trading and Financing offerings, contributing to the robustness and efficiency of these critical services.
• • Furthermore, your expertise will be sought after in key initiatives such as Custody, Web3, and Staking services, where you will help develop analytical approaches to support the onboarding and engagement of institutional clients in their decentralized finance (DeFi) journeys.
• • This role demands a proactive approach to uncovering insights. You will perform in-depth analyses on various institutional products, tackling open-ended questions to provide strategic recommendations that directly influence the company's direction and bottom line.
• • A significant part of your contribution will involve designing, guiding, and interpreting experiments and analyses. Your work will be crucial in measuring the impact of product changes and driving iterative improvements, ensuring that our offerings remain at the forefront of the industry.
• • You will be responsible for developing and maintaining key metrics and reports that provide critical visibility into the performance of institutional products and services.
