• • As a Data Scientist II focused on Product Analytics at Coinbase, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of the global financial system by enhancing the customer experience across our diverse range of consumer products. This role is pivotal in driving product strategy and delivering tangible improvements through rigorous data analysis, experimentation, and advanced modeling.
• • You will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Design teams, acting as a key partner to influence the product roadmap and gain a deeper understanding of our user base. Your expertise will be crucial in translating complex data into actionable insights that directly impact the company's bottom line and strategic objectives.
• • A core responsibility will be to perform in-depth analyses on various products, addressing open-ended questions and providing strategic recommendations that guide product development and business decisions. This involves delving into user behavior, market trends, and product performance to uncover opportunities for growth and optimization.
• • You will be tasked with designing and guiding experiments and analyses to meticulously measure the impact of product changes and new features. This includes setting up robust A/B tests, employing causal inference techniques, and ensuring that all product iterations are data-driven and validated.
• • Developing and maintaining key metrics and comprehensive reports will be essential. You will establish the foundational data infrastructure necessary for robust analysis, ensuring that critical performance indicators are accurately tracked, understood, and communicated across the organization.
• • Your work will directly contribute to improving the customer experience across Coinbase's consumer offerings, including spot and advanced trading platforms, yield products, Coinbase One (CB1), international expansion initiatives, and exciting new launches such as prediction markets and equities trading.
