Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • As a Data Scientist in Market Operations at Tools for Humanity Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in shaping data-driven strategies that support the global expansion and operational excellence of World’s human verification network. Your work will directly influence how the company scales its Orb-based identity verification system across international markets, ensuring that decisions about market performance, operator efficiency, and user engagement are grounded in rigorous analysis and actionable insights.
- • You will define and refine core performance metrics that measure the health and growth of market operations, including verification rates, operator productivity, user acquisition costs, and regional adoption trends. These metrics will serve as the foundation for executive reporting, strategic planning, and cross-functional alignment, enabling leadership to allocate resources effectively and respond swiftly to market dynamics.
- • You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of recurring reporting and analytical summaries, designing automated dashboards and weekly/monthly insight packets that translate complex data into clear narratives for Market Operations leaders, product teams, and global stakeholders. Your reports will highlight performance variances, emerging opportunities, and risks, empowering teams to act with confidence and precision.
- • You will build scalable data products and agentic solutions — such as automated anomaly detection systems, predictive growth models, and self-service analytics tools — that reduce manual effort and accelerate decision-making. By leveraging Python, SQL, and modern data transformation frameworks, you will create reusable assets that standardize analysis across markets and free up team capacity for higher-value strategic work.
- • You will conduct deep-dive analyses to identify and quantify growth opportunities in specific markets, evaluating factors such as Orb deployment density, user retention, partnership effectiveness, and regulatory landscapes. Your findings will inform go-to-market strategies, resource allocation, and pilot initiatives aimed at accelerating adoption in high-potential regions.
- • You will champion a data-driven culture within Market Operations by advocating for transparency, accessibility, and literacy around data. This includes training non-technical stakeholders on how to interpret reports, improving data documentation, and collaborating with data engineering to ensure reliable, timely access to clean datasets — ultimately embedding evidence-based thinking into everyday operational decisions.
- • You will join a world-class, mission-driven team composed of alumni from OpenAI, Tesla, SpaceX, Apple, Google, Stripe, Meta, Coinbase, Palantir, and MIT Media Lab, working in a fast-paced, innovative environment where your contributions directly impact the development of a global digital identity infrastructure designed to distinguish humans from AI in an increasingly automated world.
- • In this role, you will develop advanced expertise in applying data science to real-world operational challenges at scale, gaining hands-on experience in metric design, product analytics, and cross-functional leadership communication — positioning you for growth into senior data science, analytics leadership, or product analytics roles within a high-growth tech company at the forefront of AI and identity innovation.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or Engineering; Master’s degree preferred
- • 1–3 years of hands-on experience in data analysis, data science, or business intelligence roles, with proven ability to derive insights from complex datasets
- • Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and analysis (e.g., Pandas, NumPy), SQL for querying relational databases, and experience with data transformation frameworks (e.g., dbt, Apache Airflow)
- • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to create clear, impactful reports and dashboards
- • Strong bias for action and comfort making decisions in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with incomplete information
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to translate technical findings into actionable recommendations for non-technical audiences
🏖️ Benefits
- • Opportunity to work onsite in Munich at the forefront of a globally recognized technology company building the infrastructure for human identity in the age of AI
- • Collaborate with elite talent from industry leaders including OpenAI, Tesla, SpaceX, Google, and Meta, fostering rapid professional growth and learning
- • Direct impact on scaling a product used by over 17 million people across 160 countries, contributing to a mission that addresses one of the defining challenges of the AI era
- • Access to cutting-edge tools and technologies in data science, analytics, and automation, with support for continuous learning and professional development
- • Work in a mission-driven, high-growth environment backed by top-tier investors (a16z, Khosla Ventures, Bain Capital Crypto, etc.) with strong financial stability and long-term vision
- • Engage in meaningful, intellectually stimulating work that combines technical rigor with real-world operational impact, avoiding siloed or purely academic analysis
