- • As a Data Scientist - Post Sales at Sardine Inc., you will play a critical role in measuring, understanding, and improving the performance of the company’s risk strategies, directly contributing to fraud reduction and higher approval rates for global clients in banking, retail, and fintech sectors. Your work will translate complex data into actionable insights that protect financial systems and enhance customer trust.
- • You will develop and track key performance metrics for risk products, conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover fraud patterns and optimization opportunities, build and experiment with machine learning models to enhance detection capabilities, create automated self-serve dashboards using BI tools, and collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business teams to align data-driven solutions with business goals—all while operating in a remote-first, high-impact culture that values ownership and results over hours logged.

🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of experience in a data-focused role such as product analytics, business analytics, or data science with proven high impact
- • Prior experience in the fraud or risk domain
- • Hands-on proficiency in SQL and Python
- • Expertise in BI tools including Tableau, Sigma, or Metabase
- • Experience building and deploying machine learning models to address business challenges
- • Ability to perform exploratory data analysis (EDA), cohort analysis, and transform insights into clear, actionable recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences
