Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the end-to-end product vision and roadmap for the Buy team, covering cart, checkout, order lifecycle, payments, tax, saved addresses, and customer accounts across MOO’s global storefronts.
- • Lead the high-stakes migration of core Buy capabilities from the legacy Classic platform to the New Platform, ensuring feature parity, improved UX, and international readiness while minimising disruption to a £100M+ revenue stream.
- • Define measurable OKRs and KPIs—conversion rate, checkout completion, repeat-purchase frequency, payment success, and customer-service ticket reduction—and use rigorous A/B testing and funnel analytics to drive continuous, data-backed improvements.
- • Partner daily with Engineering, UX, Analytics, Operations, Finance, and Customer Service to scope, prioritise, and deliver secure, performant, and extensible payment, checkout, and order infrastructure that scales across multiple currencies, tax regimes, and fulfilment models.
- • Champion friction-free commerce by identifying and eliminating bugs, streamlining flows, and reducing fulfilment and servicing costs, directly impacting margin and customer satisfaction.
- • Enable rapid commercial growth in both custom print and expanding branded-merchandise lines by ensuring customers can reorder in two clicks, manage saved projects, and seamlessly transition between self-serve and Managed Service experiences.
- • Represent the Buy squad in quarterly planning, portfolio reviews, and cross-platform alignment sessions, translating complex technical trade-offs into clear narratives that secure executive buy-in and resource allocation.
- • Run inclusive discovery sprints—interviewing users, analysing behavioural data, and mapping service blueprints—to uncover unmet needs and translate insights into testable hypotheses and shippable increments.
- • Balance strategic platform thinking with hands-on delivery: from writing concise user stories and acceptance criteria to reviewing API contracts and monitoring post-release telemetry.
- • Mentor junior PMs and foster a culture of experimentation, psychological safety, and customer obsession within the broader Product & Technology organisation.
- • Navigate ambiguity with autonomy—when legacy systems throw curveballs or new tax legislation lands, you define the path forward, ask the right questions, and rally the squad without hand-holding.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of product-management experience with senior-level ownership of ecommerce, checkout, or fulfilment domains.
- • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to ship measurable improvements on complex, distributed platforms.
- • Strong grasp of ecommerce tech stacks—payment gateways, order-management systems, tax localisation, customer accounts, and fulfilment workflows.
- • Fluency in A/B testing, funnel optimisation, service-level metrics, and financial-impact modelling.
- • Exceptional stakeholder-management and storytelling skills; able to influence decisions and align diverse groups around a common vision.
- • Experience with global tax handling, multi-currency markets, or platform migrations (nice-to-have).
🏖️ Benefits
- • 25 days holiday rising by one day for each year of service (up to 5 years), plus flexible work schedules and a Work From Anywhere programme.
- • Matched pension scheme, private healthcare, life insurance, season-ticket loan, and cycle-to-work scheme.
- • Paid parental leave and a culture that actively supports healthy work-life balance.
- • A values-driven, inclusive workplace where individuality is celebrated—dye your hair purple or work from the sofa, your authentic self is welcome.
