- • Serve as an independent non-executive board director for Appodeal, Inc., providing strategic guidance specifically focused on the mobile gaming industry.
- • Contribute expert insight on modern mobile gaming business models that scale through performance marketing, data-driven product development, and rapid experimentation.
- • Advise the CEO and leadership team on gaming product strategy, market trends, and portfolio decisions related to mobile game publishing and development.
- • Evaluate game portfolio investments and scaling strategies, with particular attention to monetization models including ads, in-app purchases (IAP), and hybrid systems.
- • Provide perspective on studio structure, incentives, and growth systems for performance-driven mobile gaming studios.
- • Analyze user acquisition economics and growth systems, leveraging deep understanding of scalable acquisition channels and customer lifetime value in mobile gaming.
- • Share industry-specific relationships and insights to enhance board-level decision-making around mobile gaming opportunities and competitive dynamics.
- • Participate in quarterly board meetings and engage in occasional strategic discussions with leadership, with an estimated time commitment of approximately four weeks per year.
- • Do not engage in day-to-day operational responsibilities; maintain clear separation between governance and execution.
- • Bring operator-level experience from high-performance gaming companies with proven success in data science, performance marketing, and scalable monetization infrastructure.
- • Contribute to discussions on emerging trends in mobile gaming and their implications for Appodeal’s business, which derives approximately 30% of its revenue from mobile gaming.
- • Align with Appodeal’s values of continuous learning, impact-driven work, solving complex challenges, and enjoying the journey while maintaining an independent and constructive mindset.
- • Leverage strong industry credibility and a well-developed network within the global mobile gaming ecosystem to strengthen board effectiveness.
- • Challenge assumptions constructively and provide objective, data-informed perspectives on strategic initiatives tied to mobile gaming growth and innovation.
- • Support the board’s understanding of how Appodeal’s advertising infrastructure, DSP, and SSP platforms integrate with and support its mobile gaming business.
