Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Build and own end-to-end post-sale workflow automations including health scoring, churn signal detection, expansion opportunity identification, and proactive customer outreach triggers to reduce churn and drive revenue growth.
- • Partner directly with Growth Strategy and Product Support teams to translate business needs into technical automation requirements and iterate based on continuous feedback from frontline teams.
- • Design and deploy tooling that surfaces critical customer context to Growth Success Managers (GSMs) at key moments—such as before QBRs, during renewals, and ahead of expansion conversations—to improve decision-making and customer outcomes.
- • Extend Clay’s platform into new GTM use cases by pushing its boundaries, dogfooding new features, and acting as a practitioner evangelist for Clay’s infrastructure and GTM Engineering systems.
- • Collaborate deeply with GTM leaders and frontline teams to map current revenue motion workflows, identify breakdown points, and design systems that improve speed, visibility, data quality, and execution across the customer journey.
- • Connect disparate systems through APIs, webhooks, integrations, and automation layers to ensure clean, reliable data flow across the tech stack—from CRM to CS platforms to internal analytics.
- • Measure the performance, adoption, and business impact of all automated systems built; continuously improve based on metrics and stakeholder feedback.
- • Act as an internal thought partner on the future of AI-native GTM systems, identifying opportunities to leverage AI, data, and systems design to automate, augment, or redesign manual workflows.
- • Build and maintain internal tools and automations using Python, JavaScript, SQL, or TypeScript, with a focus on pulling and processing first-party data from Clay’s ecosystem.
- • Leverage data warehouses, BI tools, and event-driven systems to support proactive, data-backed customer success initiatives.
- • Communicate technical concepts clearly and confidently to non-technical stakeholders, including sales, customer success, and executive teams, while also translating business requirements into precise technical specifications for engineering collaborators.
- • Operate with high agency in a fast-paced, ambiguous, hypergrowth environment, driving change rather than merely responding to it.
- • Serve as a bridge between GTM Engineering and Customer Experience (CX) teams, ensuring that automation solutions are grounded in real-world workflows and frontline needs.
- • Contribute innovative product ideas back to the Clay product team based on hands-on use of the platform and observed customer success pain points.
- • Own projects from discovery and prototyping through rollout, adoption tracking, and iterative refinement, ensuring long-term scalability and usability.
