- • As a Data Scientist on Experian’s Data Enrichment team, you will drive measurable improvements in data quality, operational efficiency, and business decision-making by designing and deploying scalable machine learning and GenAI-powered solutions across commercial financial services data domains.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include building and deploying machine learning models for data matching, classification, and automation; developing production-ready SQL and data pipelines using distributed technologies; creating reusable tools for data processing and monitoring; and establishing best practices for model governance, testing, and documentation.
- • You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in Data Governance, Technology, Product, and Operations to define analytical projects from concept through deployment and ongoing performance tracking, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- • This role offers the opportunity to lead technical innovation in a large-scale commercial data environment, deepen expertise in machine learning and generative AI, influence data strategy at scale, and grow into a trusted technical leader within Experian’s analytics organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
- • Proven experience designing and deploying machine learning models in production environments, including familiarity with ML lifecycle tools and practices
- • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation, modeling, and pipeline development
- • Experience with distributed data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- • Familiarity with generative AI techniques and their application to data enrichment, classification, or automation tasks
- • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through visualizations and presentations
