This is a pivotal, client-facing role where you will be instrumental in driving growth by spearheading solutioning, providing expert pre-sales support, and offering exceptional technical delivery leadership. You will immerse yourself in the exciting worlds of Retail, Restaurant, Hospitality, and Consumer Goods, helping ambitious brands navigate complex digital challenges and seize future opportunities.
- • As a Data Solutions Lead, you will operate at the forefront of innovation, directly engaging with clients to shape groundbreaking data strategies and solutions. Your primary mission will be to translate intricate business needs into robust, executable data architectures and then guide our talented teams in bringing these visions to life. This role demands a unique blend of strategic thinking, technical acumen, and commercial savvy, with a significant impact on our clients' digital transformation journeys.
- • This is a highly visible and commercially focused position. Your success will be measured by your ability to influence pipeline growth, your skill in supporting and closing complex data opportunities, and your commitment to driving delivery excellence. We expect approximately 50% of your time to be billable, directly contributing to client programs. The remaining 50% will be dedicated to overseeing early-stage client engagements, providing critical support during sales pursuits, and ensuring continuity and innovation in our data solution development.
- • You will be a key player in new business pursuits, acting as a trusted advisor to clients. This involves understanding their unique challenges, identifying opportunities where data can drive significant value, and architecting bespoke solutions that align with their strategic objectives. Your expertise will be crucial in articulating the value proposition of Bounteous' data capabilities and demonstrating how we can deliver tangible business outcomes.
- • Responsibilities will span the entire data lifecycle, from initial client consultation and solution design to overseeing implementation and ensuring successful delivery. You will collaborate closely with sales teams, account managers, and client stakeholders to develop compelling proposals and presentations that showcase our data expertise and capabilities. This includes crafting technical responses to RFPs, developing proof-of-concepts, and presenting complex technical concepts in a clear and persuasive manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- • On the delivery side, you will provide technical leadership and oversight for data projects. This means ensuring that solutions are architected for scalability, performance, and maintainability, and that they adhere to best practices in data governance, security, and privacy. You will mentor and guide project teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Your role will be to ensure that we not only meet but exceed client expectations, delivering solutions that drive measurable business impact and foster long-term partnerships.
- • You will be expected to stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in the data and AI landscape, including cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), data warehousing, data lakes, big data technologies, business intelligence, advanced analytics, and machine learning. This knowledge will be leveraged to develop innovative solutions and maintain Bounteous' position as a leader in digital transformation.

🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience in a client-facing role, such as a Solutions Architect, Pre-Sales Consultant, or Technical Lead, with a strong focus on data solutions.
- • Deep understanding of data technologies and architectures, including cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), data warehousing, data lakes, ETL/ELT processes, and BI/analytics tools.
- • Demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable and effective data solutions.
- • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
- • Experience within the Retail, Restaurant, Hospitality, or Consumer Goods industries is a significant asset.
