  • • Join Bet365 as a Data Warehouse Developer, a pivotal role within our dynamic and forward-thinking data team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fully cloud-based, intra-day data warehouse solution that champions an AI-first approach to development, testing, and release. You will be instrumental in implementing crucial changes and enhancements to our data warehouse and data catalogue products, directly impacting how our business leverages data.
  • • As a key member of our integrated team of architects and developers, you will collaborate closely to ensure our consumers receive the precise data and information they require, when they need it. Your responsibilities will span a broad spectrum, from executing large-scale changes integral to business transformative programmes to implementing minor, yet significant, improvements requested by individual users. This requires a versatile approach and a deep understanding of data warehousing principles.
  • • You will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity, performance, and scalability of our data warehouse. This involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust ETL/ELT processes, optimizing data models, and implementing data quality checks to uphold the highest standards of data accuracy and reliability.
  • • Collaboration is at the heart of this role. You will work hand-in-hand with the Data Lake team, as well as various other departments across the business. This cross-functional interaction is essential for understanding diverse data needs, integrating disparate data sources, and ensuring a cohesive and high-quality data ecosystem.
  • • A significant aspect of your contribution will be focused on enhancing the performance of the Data Warehouse. This involves proactively identifying bottlenecks, implementing optimization strategies, and staying abreast of the latest technologies and methodologies to ensure our data infrastructure can meet the ever-changing and demanding needs of the business. Your insights will help shape the future direction of our data capabilities.
  • • You will be involved in the full data lifecycle, from data ingestion and transformation to data storage and retrieval. This includes working with complex datasets, ensuring data governance principles are adhered to, and contributing to the development of our data catalogue to improve data discoverability and understanding.
  • • The AI-first approach means you will have opportunities to explore and implement AI-driven solutions for data management, testing automation, and performance tuning. This forward-looking methodology ensures we remain at the cutting edge of data technology.
  • • You will be responsible for translating business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring that the data warehouse effectively supports business intelligence, reporting, and advanced analytics initiatives. This requires strong analytical skills and the ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation.
  • • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and monitoring solutions, to enhance efficiency and reliability.
  • • Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing sessions, and mentoring junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and excellence within the team.
  • • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations and maintaining the trust of our data consumers.
  • • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data warehousing, cloud technologies, and AI, bringing innovative ideas and solutions to the team.
  • • You will be empowered to take ownership of your work, from conception through to deployment, and will have the autonomy to make key technical decisions within your area of expertise.
  • • This role offers a unique chance to work with cutting-edge cloud technologies in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, making a tangible impact on a globally recognized brand.
