• • As a Database Administrator (DBA) at Air Apps, you will manage, optimize, and secure large-scale, complex databases that power the company’s AI-driven Personal & Entrepreneurial Resource Planner (PRP), ensuring high performance, scalability, and data integrity for over 100 million global users.
• • Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing and maintaining high-performance database systems, optimizing queries and indexing strategies, monitoring database health, managing SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB), implementing security policies and encryption, automating backups and failover mechanisms, collaborating with developers on schema design and data modeling, performing capacity planning, ensuring GDPR and data governance compliance, and staying current with emerging database technologies.
