• • As a Database Administrator at Skelar AS, you will be an integral part of our dynamic Software Development team, contributing to the success of high-load products that handle up to 100,000 operations per second. This role is crucial for maintaining the health, performance, and scalability of our database infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation for a multi-million audience.
• • Your primary strategic objective will be to ensure the robust health and optimal performance of our databases through proactive monitoring and swift, effective troubleshooting. You will be instrumental in managing and optimizing massive datasets, a core challenge in our high-volume product environment.
• • You will collaborate closely with a cross-functional team, including fellow engineers, other DBAs, and DevOps specialists, to address complex technical challenges and implement best practices. This collaborative approach ensures that our database systems are not only functional but also resilient and efficient.
• • A key responsibility will be providing essential support to our development and Quality Assurance (QA) teams. This includes assisting them with database-related queries, performance tuning for their applications, and ensuring data integrity for testing purposes.
