- • Join Twilio Inc. as a Deal Desk Analyst 2, a pivotal role supporting our APJ Go-to-Market motion from a remote location in Singapore.
- • This is an exceptional opportunity to immerse yourself in the dynamic world of deal structuring and commercial agreements, contributing to non-standard commercial agreements and Order Forms (OF).
- • You will be instrumental in ensuring that every deal is a 'Win-Win' scenario, benefiting both our valued customers and Twilio.
- • We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and analytical individual who can dissect complex problems and articulate clear, sound solutions.
- • Embrace the Twilio Magic values, demonstrating curiosity, a proactive approach, and a commitment to collaborative problem-solving.
- • Take ownership of the end-to-end quote-to-signature process for our Account Executives (AEs).
- • This includes meticulously building quotes using our CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) system, providing essential assistance with pricing and order form approvals, and managing the Order Form creation process.
- • Facilitate the smooth execution of agreements through DocuSign and ensure the accurate closure of opportunities within our systems.
- • Drive deal momentum forward by providing unparalleled customer service and support to our Sales partners.
- • Proactively troubleshoot, escalate, and resolve any roadblocks that may impede deal velocity, with a particular focus on critical month-end and quarter-end closing periods.
- • Cultivate and maintain strong, trusted working relationships with key cross-functional teams, including Deal Desk colleagues, Commercial Legal, Billing Operations, GTM Finance, and the Sales organization.
- • Act as a key educator and guide for the Sales and GTM Operations teams, ensuring adherence to all internal contracting policies and established processes.
- • Under the guidance of your manager or a senior team member, collaborate closely with the Sales team to develop and request non-standard contract language for order forms, always ensuring full compliance with corporate policies and legal requirements.
- • Contribute to the development and refinement of pricing strategies that are intrinsically aligned with Twilio's overarching financial objectives.
- • Ensure that all negotiated deals meet and exceed required profitability targets, revenue goals, and governance standards.
- • Conduct in-depth pricing and financial analysis, leveraging advanced spreadsheet skills to inform deal structuring, assess margin implications, and formulate sound commercial recommendations for strategic and complex opportunities.
- • Analyze deal profitability and identify potential risks or opportunities, providing data-driven insights to support decision-making.
- • Support the implementation and ongoing optimization of CPQ tools and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy in deal management.
- • Participate in deal reviews, providing financial and pricing expertise to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- • Assist in the preparation of financial models and forecasts related to deal pipelines and revenue projections.
- • Stay abreast of market trends, competitive pricing, and industry best practices to inform pricing strategies and deal negotiations.
- • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Deal Desk processes, tools, and documentation to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
- • Develop a deep understanding of Twilio's product offerings and their associated pricing models to effectively support sales in complex deal scenarios.
- • Be a key point of contact for Sales inquiries related to pricing, quoting, and order form processes, offering timely and accurate support.
- • Ensure data integrity within our CRM and CPQ systems related to opportunities and quotes.
- • Support the transition of closed-won deals to the post-sales and billing teams, ensuring a seamless handover.
- • Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the Deal Desk team and broader GTM organization.
- • This role offers a unique chance to gain broad cross-functional exposure and make a tangible impact on Twilio's growth in the APJ region.
