📋 Description

• Monitor and ensure the timely and accurate completion of all scheduled steps within the foreclosure tracking template on a daily basis, including resolving outstanding or late tasks.
• Obtain necessary approvals and manage upcoming events or tasks, ensuring all deadlines are met and dates entered in the system are accurate and compliant.
• Communicate directly with assigned attorneys and trustees using vendor tracking software to address delays, pending inquiries, and procedural updates.
• Utilize all available tools, including the system of record and vendor tracking software, to effectively manage the foreclosure pipeline and maintain data integrity.
• Verify that all attorney fees, costs, and foreclosure-related expenses comply with allowable schedules set by Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA, and USDA.
• Maintain accurate records in the system of record and vendor tracking software to ensure proper notification and reporting to investors, clients, borrowers, and federal/state government agencies throughout the foreclosure process.
• Review all upcoming foreclosure sales no less than five days prior to the scheduled date to confirm full compliance with all legal and investor requirements.
• Complete foreclosure sales and follow up on sale proceeds in accordance with judicial or non-judicial proceedings as applicable.
• Process all instructions for posting of funds within specified SLAs, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement of proceeds when received.
• Adhere strictly to company policies, investor guidelines, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations governing mortgage default servicing.
• Assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned to support the broader objectives of the Default Servicing team.
• Ensure transparency and financial literacy in all interactions, aligning with Valon’s mission to empower homeowners and minimize losses for investors.
• Collaborate cross-functionally within the Default Servicing team to drive optimal outcomes for homeowners, lenders, and investors.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail while managing multiple foreclosure cases simultaneously under strict regulatory and operational timelines.
• Apply comprehensive knowledge of judicial and non-judicial foreclosure processes across multiple U.S. states.
• Interpret and apply GSE (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac) and government (FHA, VA, GNMA) regulatory guidelines accurately in daily case management.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of end-to-end foreclosure experience in the mortgage or banking industry
• Keen understanding of judicial and non-judicial foreclosure proceedings
• Full understanding of GSE (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac) and government (FHA, VA, GNMA) regulations and guidelines
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with computers and mortgage servicing software
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and follow mortgage-servicing guidelines with high accuracy
