- • The Deployed Engineer role at LangChain, Inc. is a hands-on, highly technical position focused on helping companies build and run reliable AI agents in production, turning prototypes into scalable systems that real teams depend on.
- • Day to day, you will co-architect and co-build production AI agents with customer engineering teams, own technical wins in pre-sales by designing POCs and answering deep technical questions, advise on deployment and operations, run technical trainings, and surface field feedback to improve LangChain’s platform.
- • You’ll join a team that sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and go-to-market, working directly with customers across the full lifecycle — from pre-sales evaluations to post-deployment advisory — to shape how LangChain is adopted in the field and feed real-world insights back into the platform.
- • In this role, you’ll gain deep experience in applied AI systems, learn how to design and operate LLM-powered agents at scale, influence product development through customer feedback, and become a trusted technical advisor to engineering teams building AI-driven applications.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years in a relevant technical role such as software engineering, customer engineering, solutions engineering, or founding/product engineering, ideally in a startup or scale-up environment
- • Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript, along with solid systems fundamentals
- • Experience designing agent-based or LLM-powered applications beyond simple API calls, including multi-step workflows, orchestration, and failure handling
