📋 Description

• • As a Deployment Operations Manager at GovWell, you will play a pivotal role in transforming how local governments deliver services by ensuring successful customer implementations of the company’s AI-powered platform. This role is critical to GovWell’s mission of modernizing outdated government systems, directly impacting the efficiency and accessibility of public services for millions of residents across 30+ states. You will be responsible for translating complex government workflows into functional digital configurations within the GovWell platform, enabling agencies to streamline permitting, licensing, and other mission-critical processes.
• • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include building and configuring customer workflows by creating digital forms, automations, and process logic that mirror real-world government operations; collaborating closely with Customer Success teams to translate client requirements into accurate, scalable product configurations; providing real-time live chat support via Intercom to troubleshoot user issues and ensure smooth daily platform usage; iterating on configurations based on customer feedback and usage patterns to improve post-launch functionality; and identifying recurring implementation challenges, edge cases, or inefficiencies to surface actionable insights to Product and Engineering teams for platform enhancement.
• • You will join a mission-driven, hyper-growth startup that has achieved product-market fit and is experiencing 4X ARR growth, backed by $10M in seed funding from Work-Bench and Bienville Capital. GovWell’s team works in person at its New York City headquarters three or more days per week, fostering close collaboration while maintaining flexibility for remote work. As one of the earliest members of the deployment function, you will have the opportunity to help shape and scale the implementation playbooks, systems, and best practices that will support GovWell’s rapid expansion.
• • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in government process automation, SaaS implementation, and cross-functional collaboration between Customer Success, Product, and Engineering. You will gain hands-on experience configuring enterprise software for public sector clients, refining operational playbooks, and influencing product direction through frontline user insights—positioning yourself for growth into senior operations, implementation leadership, or product-focused roles within GovWell or the broader GovTech industry.
