📋 Description

• Partner with Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) across the full deployment lifecycle—from initial discovery to live production—to ensure AI solutions deliver maximum business value.
• Lead strategic use case discovery with C-level and VP-level stakeholders, identifying high-impact AI opportunities beyond what customers explicitly request.
• Build trusted relationships with senior enterprise clients to challenge assumptions, align technical delivery with business priorities, and present findings at the highest levels.
• Scope AI deployments by rigorously evaluating business value versus technical effort, mapping integrations, data dependencies, and platform constraints to create realistic timelines.
• Build hands-on prototypes and demos using Python, AI-powered coding tools (e.g., Claude Code), and HappyRobot’s platform to validate ideas quickly and prove value before customer commitment.
• Coordinate and prioritize multiple active deployments within an account, ensuring each project compounds the value of the next and preventing work from drifting from high-impact paths.
• Serve as the primary business-side point of contact for enterprise accounts, translating AI capabilities into actionable language for both operational teams and executives.
• Travel onsite for key moments such as kickoffs, workflow mapping sessions, and critical decision points where physical presence drives better outcomes.
• Bring field insights back to Product and Engineering teams to identify reusable patterns, common edge cases, and platform evolution opportunities.
• Operate with extreme ownership: take full responsibility for outcomes, fix problems proactively, and act even when tasks fall outside formal responsibilities.
• Apply craftsmanship to every deliverable—whether a prototype, customer presentation, or internal documentation—by sweating details and refusing to settle for “just fine.”
• Maintain urgency with focus: move fast but prioritize ruthlessly to achieve the highest leverage outcomes in the shortest time.
• Embody a founder mindset: work independently, take initiative, thrive in ambiguity, and drive results without hierarchical oversight.

🎯 Requirements

• Background combining technical depth with strategic instinct, such as engineering (CS, electrical, industrial, systems), data science, founding a tech startup, product management, or technical/strategic consulting.
• Comfortable coding in Python using AI-powered tools like Claude Code to rapidly ship prototypes.
• Working understanding of APIs, enterprise system integrations, and how AI agents operate within real-world workflows.
• Proven ability to spot business value in workflows and translate it into impact, effort, and prioritization terms understandable by C-level executives.
• Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders without losing nuance on either side.
• Founder mindset: highly independent, takes ownership, thrives in fast-paced environments, and drives outcomes over activity.
