📋 Description

• • The Deposits Lead role is critical to maintaining the financial integrity and regulatory compliance of RealNetworks’ brokerage operations by ensuring accurate reconciliation of all incoming deposits across trust and operating accounts.
• • This position directly supports agent success and client trust by guaranteeing that every financial transaction is properly tracked, matched, and recorded in alignment with industry standards and internal controls.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring and tracking all incoming deposits into brokerage trust and operating accounts on a daily basis.
• • Performing day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, matching, posting, and recording incoming deposit data.
• • Identifying the source and purpose of each deposit, such as commission payments, client deposits, and third-party transfers.
• • Liaising with real estate agents, conveyancers, brokers, and other stakeholders to confirm deposit details.
• • Matching deposits to corresponding deals, transactions, or invoices in the brokerage management system.
• • Ensuring timely and accurate entry of deposit data into internal systems and financial records.
• • Investigating and resolving any unidentified or misallocated deposits by communicating with banks, customers, or internal teams.
• • Maintaining detailed records of all reconciliations and communications for audit and compliance purposes.
• • Preparing journal entry drafts and generating/maintaining reports.
• • Collaborating with finance and transaction teams to support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• • Adhering to financial laws, guidelines, and trust accounting standards.
• • Assisting in refining deposit tracking and reconciliation workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.
