- • As a Design Engineer at Ambrook Inc., you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial infrastructure that empowers American family-run agricultural and industrial businesses to become more profitable and resilient, directly contributing to sustainable economic and environmental outcomes.
- • Day to day, you will design and build user-facing features from concept to production, own and evolve the design system including component libraries and design tokens, translate complex financial workflows into intuitive interfaces, and collaborate closely with product, engineering, and customers to ensure elegant, functional solutions.
- • Ambrook is a Series A startup backed by Thrive Capital, Dylan Field, and Homebrew, rebuilding financial tools for independent operators by replacing legacy paperwork with modern accounting, banking, and spending platforms, and values design craft as a core pillar of its technical and product direction.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in frontend architecture and design systems, influence product direction through user research and technical leadership, and grow as a hybrid designer-engineer at the intersection of agriculture, finance, and climate resilience.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years building high-quality web and mobile experiences
- • Experience building or working extensively with component libraries and design systems
- • Strong design instincts with ability to create high-fidelity prototypes in Figma
- • Advanced frontend skills including clean, performant code, data structures, async programming, and modern development workflows
- • Experience with React, TypeScript, React Native, or Next.js (bonus)
- • Experience at fast-moving startups or building financial products (bonus)
