• • We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Design Engineer to join our core founding team. This pivotal role sits at the dynamic intersection of design and engineering, where you will be instrumental in prototyping, developing, and refining the user experiences that define the Memorang platform. This opportunity is ideal for an individual who possesses a designer's mindset coupled with an engineer's execution capabilities, or vice versa. You will take ownership of the entire UI layer of our cutting-edge AI platform, encompassing sophisticated tools such as agent builders, knowledge graph editors, human-in-the-loop (HITL) evaluation interfaces, and collaborative authoring workflows.
• • Your contributions will directly shape the future of human-AI collaboration in education, enabling seamless creation of knowledge graphs, intelligent agents, and dynamic applications. You will be at the forefront of designing intuitive and powerful interfaces that empower users to build educational content and experiences with unprecedented efficiency and effectiveness.
• • **Key Responsibilities and Project Examples:**
• • **Visual Agent Builder Development:** Design and implement a sophisticated drag-and-drop canvas interface, enabling users to intuitively compose complex tutoring workflows. This involves creating modular components, defining node connections, and providing a live preview to visualize the agent's behavior in real-time.
• • **Parallel Agent Management Interface:** Develop a robust interface for monitoring and managing multiple AI agents operating concurrently. This includes designing clear status indicators, detailed log views, and effective intervention controls to ensure smooth operation and prompt issue resolution.
• • **Collaborative Knowledge Graph Editing:** Build real-time collaborative editing experiences for knowledge graphs. This requires implementing features such as synchronized cursors, intelligent conflict resolution mechanisms, and multiplayer annotation capabilities to facilitate teamwork.
• • **AI Copilot Integration:** Prototype and integrate copilot interfaces that seamlessly surface AI-generated suggestions directly within content authoring workflows. This involves designing intuitive interactions for accepting, rejecting, or editing AI recommendations.
• • **Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) Evaluation Tools:** Create powerful tools for subject matter experts (SMEs) to evaluate AI-generated content. This includes designing structured feedback mechanisms, enabling users to provide precise input, and implementing auto-fix loops to refine AI outputs based on human review.
• • **Data Annotation Workflow Design:** Develop efficient data annotation workflows, incorporating optimized keyboard shortcuts, bulk action capabilities, and clear quality metrics dashboards to streamline the process of preparing data for AI model training.
• • **Component Framework Development:** Architect and build reusable, scalable component frameworks that form the foundation of our UI layer, ensuring consistency and maintainability across the platform.
