📋 Description

• As a Design Systems Engineer at OneApp Technologies Inc., you will architect the design platform that enables designers, engineers, product, marketing, and creative teams to consume and extend the design system with confidence, directly impacting how millions of Americans interact with their money through OnePay’s all-in-one financial services platform.
• Day to day, you will build infrastructure connecting the design system to AI layers—including MCPs, token pipelines, LLM-aware components, and AI-generated variants—evolving the design-to-code pipeline with the Design Engineer and ensuring system compliance across teams.
• You will join a small, senior Experience Design team with roots at Apple, Meta, Ford, Airbnb, and leading fintechs, where AI is a baseline part of workflows and collaboration is driven by low ego, high craft, and urgency in a mission-driven environment backed by Walmart and Ribbit Capital.
• In this role, you will learn to build AI-native design infrastructure that rethinks traditional systems, gain influence across the organization by serving cross-functional teams, and achieve measurable impact through adoption, speed, consistency, and design-to-production fidelity rather than just delivering static libraries.

🎯 Requirements

• Deep experience with design system architecture across Figma and code
• Hands-on work integrating AI into design and engineering workflows—MCPs, LLM integrations, automation
• Fluency in design tokens, component architecture, and how design systems map to production code
• Scripting or plugin development experience (Figma plugins, APIs, or similar)
• A track record of building systems that serve audiences beyond designers and engineers
• Comfort defining and tracking success metrics: adoption, speed, consistency, design-to-production fidelity
