📋 Description

• As a Developer Advocate at Stedi, you will serve as the technical bridge between our innovative healthcare clearinghouse platform and the developer community, creating compelling content and tools that empower engineers to build on our APIs and drive adoption of our mission-critical healthcare transaction solutions.
• You will build and publish demo applications, sample revenue cycle management (RCM) tools, and technical projects that showcase the capabilities of Stedi’s programmable clearinghouse, enabling developers to understand and implement real-world healthcare billing workflows.
• You will produce high-quality technical content including blog posts, YouTube tutorials, explainer videos, and guides that demystify Stedi’s APIs and related healthcare transaction standards like X12 HIPAA, making complex systems accessible to technical audiences.
• You will leverage AI-powered analysis of customer interactions—such as support tickets, sales calls, and user feedback—to identify recurring questions and pain points, transforming them into targeted educational resources, code samples, and troubleshooting guides.
• You will act as a public-facing representative of Stedi’s developer community, appearing on camera in videos, webinars, and live streams, and engaging with developers across online platforms to foster trust, visibility, and community growth.
• You will measure the effectiveness of your content and outreach using quantitative and qualitative metrics—such as engagement rates, video views, API usage from demo apps, and community feedback—to continuously refine your strategy and maximize impact.
• You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and customer success teams to ensure technical accuracy, align content with product roadmaps, and advocate for developer needs within the organization.
• You will work in a fast-moving, remote-first environment that values autonomy, curiosity, and rapid iteration, where your ability to ship quickly, learn continuously, and communicate clearly will directly contribute to Stedi’s growth and developer ecosystem.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven background in software engineering or developer relations (DevRel), with hands-on experience writing code, making API requests, building demo applications, and working comfortably in command-line environments.
• Demonstrated comfort and skill appearing on camera, including the ability to script, record, edit, and publish polished technical video content independently, with a portfolio of 2–3 samples (including at least one on-camera video) required for application.
• Strong ability to learn and explain complex technical domains quickly—particularly healthcare transaction standards like X12 HIPAA and revenue cycle management (RCM)—and translate them into clear, accessible content for developers.
