- • Serve as the primary face of ElevenLabs to the global developer community through public speaking, live demos, and community engagement.
- • Deliver technical talks and presentations at developer conferences, meetups, and events — including proactively pitching sessions to events where ElevenLabs is not a sponsor.
- • Own the end-to-end developer conference sponsorship pipeline: evaluating event leverage, prioritizing opportunities, managing logistics, and overseeing budget allocation.
- • Build and maintain high-quality demo code and example applications using ElevenAPI and ElevenAgents to demonstrate technical capabilities and drive developer adoption.
- • Actively participate in developer communities on Discord, Reddit, and other platforms by answering questions, fostering relationships, and surfacing feedback to product and engineering teams.
- • Translate complex AI audio APIs into clear, compelling narratives that move developers from understanding how to use the tools to understanding why they should build with ElevenLabs.
- • Travel frequently to in-person developer events across the United States, with a focus on major tech hubs and conference circuits.
- • Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to align community feedback with product roadmap priorities and messaging.
- • Maintain technical credibility by independently reading documentation, assembling working demos, and troubleshooting API integrations without requiring engineering support.
- • Represent ElevenLabs’ brand with excellence in all public-facing interactions, ensuring every talk, post, and response reflects the quality of our AI models.
- • Proactively identify emerging trends and developer pain points within AI and builder communities to inform content strategy and product improvements.
- • Leverage AI tools across all aspects of the role to enhance efficiency, from content creation to event planning and community moderation.
- • Contribute to the growth of ElevenLabs’ developer ecosystem by expanding reach beyond sponsored events and building organic community momentum.
- • Maintain a consistent presence in developer spaces, responding promptly to inquiries and cultivating trust through authentic, empathetic engagement.
- • Document and report on community sentiment, event performance, and developer feedback to guide strategic decisions and measure impact.
- • Work autonomously with minimal supervision, prioritizing high-leverage activities that drive developer adoption and brand authority.
- • Embody ElevenLabs’ culture of high velocity, impact-driven work, and excellence in every deliverable — whether on stage, in code, or in a Discord thread.
🎯 Requirements
- • A proven public speaker with a track record of technical talks at meetups and conferences — video recordings of past talks are required to be considered.
- • A strong technical communicator who can take a complex API and make it click for an audience.
- • Active involvement in AI or builder communities.
- • An engineering background — candidates need to be able to show they can build and be technically literate enough to read our docs and assemble a working demo on their own.
- • Genuinely energized by community: comfortable in Discord/Reddit, with real developer empathy.
- • Comfortable owning event and sponsorship operations — prioritization, logistics, and budget.
- • US-based (slight preference for San Francisco) and happy to travel frequently.
