📋 Description

• As a Developer Community Specialist (Europe/Asia) at Apify, you will be the primary touchpoint for the global developer community, helping builders succeed on the Apify platform by nurturing engagement, guiding onboarding, and amplifying developer voices across Discord, Reddit, and other community spaces. Your work directly supports Apify’s mission to put the web to work — enabling real-world impact from fighting child trafficking to powering AI chatbots.
• Day to day, you will nurture community engagement by facilitating conversations, announcing product updates, running webinars and contests, guiding developers from onboarding to monetization, gathering insights through direct interaction, and supporting logistics for regional in-person events and meetups.
• You will be part of Apify’s globally distributed Developer Relations and Community team, collaborating across time zones with Engineering, Marketing, and Product to ensure developers get the most out of the platform while contributing to a culture of openness and innovation.
• In this role, you will develop expertise in community-led growth, technical communication, and developer advocacy; gain deep familiarity with web scraping, automation, and AI-integrated tools; and build a measurable impact on community health and developer success — all while growing your professional network within a fast-moving, remote-first tech company.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of experience building or managing communities with measurable results
• Hands-on experience with at least one community platform such as Discord, Reddit, or Discourse
• Strong written English skills for technical audiences, from Discord replies to long-form content
• Proven ability to own work end-to-end and collaborate effectively in team settings
• Curiosity about developer tools and willingness to learn Apify deeply to engage credibly with developers
• Comfort using AI tools beyond chat interfaces and understanding when to apply them
