Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Architect and ship production-grade sample applications that act as the gold standard for Monad developers. From DeFi protocols to gaming engines, your code will be the first stop for builders who want to understand how to squeeze maximum performance out of the parallel EVM.
- • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of open-source reference implementations: ideation, scoping, coding, security audits, CI/CD, documentation, and community support. Every repo you publish will be accompanied by a polished README, inline comments, and architecture diagrams that make onboarding effortless.
- • Turn your builds into learning content. Record deep-dive videos, write technical blog posts, and create interactive workshops that dissect design decisions, gas optimizations, and Monad-specific patterns. Your content will be syndicated across Twitter, YouTube, Discord, and conference stages.
- • Be the voice of the builder community inside Monad. Aggregate feedback from hackathons, GitHub issues, and Discord threads, then translate it into crisp product requirements for protocol, tooling, and DevEx teams. Expect to ship a weekly "Builder Pulse" report that shapes the next sprint.
- • Design and maintain a modular starter-kit monorepo (Hardhat, Foundry, React, Unity, etc.) so new teams can spin up a secure, scalable dApp in minutes. Include opinionated linting rules, test harnesses, and deployment scripts that embody best practices.
- • Host monthly technical AMAs and office hours where you live-code solutions to the community’s hardest problems. Whether it’s debugging a reentrancy edge case or optimizing cross-shard calls, you’ll be the friendly expert who never makes anyone feel silly for asking.
- • Partner with university blockchain clubs, accelerators, and global hackathon organizers to seed early-stage teams with grants, mentorship, and early access to Monad features. Track funnel metrics from first contact to mainnet launch and iterate on the program quarterly.
- • Contribute upstream to core tooling (e.g., Monad CLI, SDKs, block explorers) by opening PRs that improve error messages, add autocomplete, or surface parallel-execution hints. Your commits will directly reduce time-to-first-transaction for thousands of developers.
- • Champion security culture by integrating formal verification walkthroughs and fuzz-testing examples into every sample app. Publish post-mortems when bugs are found, turning incidents into teachable moments that level up the entire ecosystem.
- • Represent Monad at 10+ conferences and hackathons per year—from ETHDenver to FarCon—delivering keynotes, judging submissions, and running 24-hour coding sprints. Your travel calendar will be packed, but your impact will be measured in new projects deployed and new friendships forged.
