- • As the Developer Relations Lead at Flox, you will serve as the public, technical, and human face of the company to software engineers and builders worldwide, driving adoption through technical advocacy and community engagement.
- • Day to day, you will build integrations, demos, proof-of-concepts, and technical deliverables that showcase Flox’s capabilities; host workshops and office hours; represent Flox at conferences and online; create educational content; and build marketing automations using LLMs and agent-based systems to amplify a small team’s output.
- • You will join a mission-driven, Series B-backed startup (supported by NEA, Illuminate, Addition, and D.E. Shaw) that is redefining the software development lifecycle with reproducible, secure environments powered by Nix, operating at the intersection of developer tooling and AI-augmented marketing.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in developer advocacy, technical storytelling, and ecosystem growth while shaping how engineering teams adopt reproducible environments; you’ll also gain hands-on experience building AI-powered marketing systems and influencing go-to-market strategy from a technical foundation.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years in Developer Relations, software engineering, or solutions engineering roles
- • Strong technical ability with comfort building and shipping working demos, integrations, and automation projects (Go, Python, Rust, or shell)
- • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and Sales to move technical conversations toward adoption
- • Deep understanding of software delivery, CI/CD, reproducibility, or platform engineering
- • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, in writing and on stage
- • High self-direction – ability to manage priorities and execute with accountability
