📋 Description

• • Coordinate and deliver multi-year development strategies for middle donors and Gifts in Wills supporters across Australia, New Zealand, Oceania, the Asia Pacific Region, the US, and Europe.
• • Manage a portfolio of 300+ middle donors and legacy supporters, focusing on securing gifts, grants, and pledges from individuals, foundations, and occasionally corporate donors.
• • Design and execute integrated donor journeys to acquire, retain, and upgrade mid-value supporters while nurturing future major and bequest donors.
• • Segment donors using giving history, capacity indicators, and engagement signals to tailor outreach and stewardship approaches.
• • Balance short-term cash income goals with long-term pipeline development for major gifts and Gifts in Wills.
• • Maintain accurate and timely donor records in TNC’s CRM system, ensuring compliance with data management standards.
• • Develop, manage, and forecast annual budgets and income projections for middle donor and Gifts in Wills programs.
• • Apply ROI and lifetime value modelling to prioritize fundraising investments and optimize resource allocation.
• • Test and optimize direct marketing channels, propositions, and stewardship methods to improve donor response and retention.
• • Personalize donor communications, asks, and recognition using data-driven insights to deepen engagement.
• • Deliver a mix of high-touch (e.g., calls, personalized emails) and scalable engagement activities (e.g., impact updates, events) to ensure donors feel known and valued.
• • Translate organizational conservation outcomes into compelling, donor-relevant impact stories that build emotional connection and loyalty.
• • Create and deliver high-quality written and verbal stewardship materials, including thank-you communications, reports, and updates.
• • Maintain consistent, values-led communication aligned with TNC’s mission and ethical standards for handling confidential donor information.
• • Ensure compliance with TNC policies, philanthropic sector regulations, and legal requirements including IRS guidelines where applicable.
• • Collaborate with conservation teams to share program developments and align donor messaging with scientific and field-based outcomes.
• • Liaise with the Worldwide Office to align practices with global middle donor and Gifts in Wills best practices.
• • Engage and manage volunteers within formal and informal donor networks.
• • Organize and support strategic donor stewardship and cultivation events.
• • Act independently and exercise sound judgment in problem-solving and decision-making, including representing supervisor responsibilities as needed.
• • Manage assigned projects, coordinate peer work, and meet deadlines while maintaining alignment with organizational fundraising objectives.
• • Participate in prospect research activities to identify potential high-capacity donors.
• • Work within a flexible, remote environment supporting health and well-being while maintaining high standards of performance and accountability.
