- • The Open Home Foundation is looking for a Development Manager based in the United States to join their Marketing team.
- • The Development Manager will be responsible for the development and growth of the Open Home Foundation's fundraising efforts, including grant funding and corporate sponsorships.
- • The role will involve developing and owning the foundation's fundraising strategy, identifying and cultivating relationships with qualified prospects, and translating the foundation's mission and values into suitable philanthropic narratives.
- • The Development Manager will also be responsible for building and managing corporate sponsorship programs, researching and writing grant applications, and setting up and maintaining fundraising systems.
- • The role requires at least 5 years of fundraising or development experience, with a track record of securing significant gifts, grants, or corporate sponsorships.
- • The ideal candidate will have experience within the tech sector, cultivating and closing corporate sponsorships and/or major donors, and strong grant-writing and funder-reporting skills.
- • The Development Manager will work closely with leadership and the project communities to align fundraising with the foundation's roadmap and values.
- • The role also requires excellent relationship-building and communication skills, as well as the ability to travel to meet potential donors in person.
- • The Open Home Foundation is a fully remote organization that uses Remote to employ people from all over the world.
- • The Development Manager will be a normal salaried employee in their country, with a full-time position for 40 hours per week.
- • The role offers a competitive total compensation package, with a yearly compensation of approximately 120.000 to 150.000 USD.
🎯 Requirements
- • At least 5 years of fundraising or development experience.
- • Experience owning a fundraising function or leading major fundraising initiatives end-to-end.
- • Experience within the tech sector.
- • Experience cultivating and closing corporate sponsorships and/or major donors.
- • Strong grant-writing and funder-reporting skills.
- • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- • Ability to travel to meet potential donors in person.
