  • • The Development Systems Analyst plays a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity, efficiency, and continuous improvement of the systems and data that underpin the organization's crucial fundraising and constituent relationship management efforts.
  • • This position acts as a subject matter expert, focusing on core fundraising data to guarantee that all users have access to the highest quality data available, thereby maximizing the effectiveness of development operations.
  • • You will be instrumental in supporting and advising internal teams on the optimal utilization of data, championing data cleanliness and accuracy for both constituent and fundraising information.
  • • As a key member of the Data and Technology Solutions Team, situated within the Philanthropy Effectiveness Team, you will contribute directly to the organization's global development initiatives.
  • • Collaborating closely with the Director of Philanthropy Data and Technology Solutions, you will be responsible for enhancing constituent and donor data management strategies.
  • • This involves implementing both immediate, tactical solutions and contributing to the development and execution of long-term improvement strategies for data systems.
  • • You will coordinate with a diverse range of internal partners to establish and maintain robust data governance, adhere to data standards, and ensure comprehensive documentation.
  • • Providing user-centered support around data is a core function, empowering staff partners who rely on this data for effective fundraising and equipping them with the knowledge to maximize their contributions to the organization's conservation outcomes.
  • • A significant responsibility includes managing and contributing to the inventory of data quality queries and metrics, which are essential for driving continuous data improvement and monitoring system performance.
  • • You will be adept at creating various data profiles through the execution of SQL queries and the analysis of key metrics.
  • • A critical aspect of the role involves working collaboratively with partners to achieve alignment on data definitions and retention periods, ensuring consistency and clarity across the organization.
  • • You will maintain and regularly update the CRM data dictionary, a vital resource that requires accurate definitions, clear guidance on field usage, identification of data sources, and documentation of relationships, all made accessible to stakeholders.
  • • The role demands consultation, evaluation, and the formulation of recommendations regarding data needs and requirements for a broad spectrum of audiences.
  • • This ensures that potential system enhancements, extensions, add-ons, and process changes accurately reflect cross-functional and cross-organizational impacts and align with the overarching business intent.
  • • You will be expected to respond promptly to assigned tickets within the Philanthropy Operation Support Hub (POSH), which may involve troubleshooting data and query-related issues in strict accordance with established procedures.
  • • Providing support for data-related testing during any Blackbaud CRM (BB CRM) system upgrades or patch implementations is also a key responsibility.
  • • The Analyst must possess advanced knowledge, or demonstrate the capacity to rapidly acquire advanced skill, in the systems and resources utilized by the team and Development Operations staff.
  • • This includes proficiency in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and SQL Queries, Power BI, Blackbaud CRM, Microsoft 365 applications, Workday, and Asana, enabling you to provide programmatic support and coordinate communications effectively.
  • • You will engage in substantial interaction with stakeholders and may serve as the lead liaison with key partners.
  • • Staying abreast of market trends and best practices in data management and CRM systems is crucial for continuously improving services.
  • • Adapting processes and implementing recommended practices based on an in-depth understanding of related policies and procedures will be key to enhancing overall effectiveness.
