- • Create high-quality video content including screencasts, product walkthroughs, and short demos that demonstrate SuperPlane’s capabilities in real-world DevOps and platform engineering scenarios.
- • Produce consistent, weekly technical blog posts and tutorials based on hands-on exploration of SuperPlane, translating product features into actionable workflows for engineers.
- • Build and document real, runnable use cases — including spinning up staging environments, writing Lambda functions, or configuring CI/CD pipelines — ensuring all content includes functional, tested code samples.
- • Serve as SuperPlane’s primary voice in developer communities on Discord, Reddit, Hacker News, and DevOps-focused Slack groups, engaging authentically without sales pitch language.
- • Monitor and contribute to discussions in community channels, welcoming new users, surfacing valuable conversations, and addressing technical questions with clarity and expertise.
- • Represent SuperPlane at industry conferences and meetups up to a few times per year, delivering talks or participating in panels that align with product value propositions.
- • Maintain a growing library of reusable use-case demos that the sales and product teams can leverage to accelerate customer onboarding and product education.
- • Develop content that drives measurable organic traffic and increases signups through SEO-optimized writing and shareable social media distribution.
- • Work independently with minimal oversight, identifying emerging trends, tools, and workflows in DevOps and AI engineering to inform content direction.
- • Utilize AI tools daily — including coding agents, LLMs for drafting and review, and AI-assisted prototyping — as core infrastructure to enhance efficiency and quality of output.
- • Produce polished video content solo, using professional tools and techniques, without reliance on a production team or external editors.
- • Collaborate remotely with a distributed, async-first team across European and American time zones, maintaining clear communication and consistent delivery.
- • Translate deep technical understanding of infrastructure tools like Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD systems into accessible, practitioner-focused content that resonates with mid-to-large engineering teams.
- • Stay aligned with SuperPlane’s open-source identity and engineering-first culture, ensuring all content reflects authentic user experience rather than marketing spin.
- • Contribute to product feedback loops by relaying community insights, pain points, and feature requests from users back to the product team.
- • Balance speed and quality in a fast-moving startup environment where shipping consistently matters more than perfection.
- • Own end-to-end content creation from ideation to publication, including research, scripting, filming, editing, publishing, and promotion.
- • Maintain a personal brand aligned with SuperPlane’s ethos: technical, approachable, curious, and non-salesy.
- • Adapt content style and depth based on audience context — from quick TikTok-style demos to in-depth Medium or Dev.to guides.
🎯 Requirements
- • DevOps or platform engineering background with hands-on experience managing deployments, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, or Kubernetes
- • Ability to write and test working code; capable of building runnable examples without pairing with an engineer
- • Proven experience producing solo video content (screencasts, walkthroughs, demos) without a production team
- • Daily use of AI tools (LLMs, coding agents, AI-assisted prototyping) as part of regular workflow
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills with deep product intuition for engineering tools
- • Comfort working asynchronously in a remote, distributed team across GMT-5 to GMT+3 time zones
