- • As a Digital Community Engagement Team Lead at Giant Tiger Stores Limited, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the company’s social media strategy at the store level, directly influencing how Canadians engage with the brand online and in communities across the country.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing and rolling out store-level social media programs, developing training materials for store leaders, managing influencer and ambassador partnerships, reviewing and approving social media content for brand alignment, guiding a team of social media specialists, identifying risks in content or partnerships, and managing program budgets within allocated limits.
- • You will be part of Giant Tiger’s store support team based at the Ottawa Home Office, working in a hybrid model (2 days onsite per week at Walkley Road), contributing to a Canadian retail institution with over 60 years of community-rooted success and a mission to help Canadians save more every day.
- • In this role, you will develop leadership and strategic execution skills in digital community engagement, gain experience managing multi-location social media programs, deepen expertise in influencer marketing and brand safety, and grow your impact through mentoring teams and driving consistent, on-brand social presence across hundreds of stores.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–5 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or community engagement roles
- • Proven experience managing and executing social media programs across multiple channels
- • Experience developing and delivering training or guidance to support consistent execution across teams or locations
- • Experience working with influencers, brand ambassadors, or external partners, including coordinating campaigns and managing relationships
- • Strong attention to detail and judgment to ensure content is accurate, on brand, and appropriate prior to publishing
- • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
